Match report After two tight matches in both cup competitions, teh U17 were expecting a tough match at home. However this proved not to be the case as the U17 over powered Hartley Wintney in this league fixture. Due to holidays, the U15s Regional Final and general absence - the team bore a strange look with Andre Pienaar and James Birch making their second appearance for the team and Ben Gray stepping up for his first appearance

Opting to bat first, the U17 built an impressive score with both Miles (52) and Ryan (51) retiring and skipper Chris (47) helping the score along to a respectable 186. Some strong hitting, along with some poor fielding kept the score moving throughout the innings.

When it came to bowl, it quickly became obvious that the bowling attack was far too strong and virtually the entire team got to bowl. Ben Gray was the pick of the bowlers, taking 3-14 of his four overs. However Andre Pienaar bowling for the first time at this level took his first U17 wicket - much to the annoyance of Jacques who unusually remained wicketless for this match
