Ladies Darts Reports - Winter 06/07
Thurs 1 Feb - Metropole (Camberley Ladies League)

Tracey Dyos reports
In a match of pairs and fours we hoped for a good result but were made to work very hard by the Metropole girls. With the scores tied after the pairs, and still level after the fours it was yet again to be decided by the gallon. Our best player of the night by far, Gill got the double to secure a 5 . 4 win for Yateley. Out of the five games won, Gill got the double in four of them.

Wed 31 Jan - Hawley Bridge (Yateley & District League)

Tracey Dyos reports
A good start with Trace, Rene and Chris all winning their singles to give us a great start. We managed to win two of the pairs to ensure a win but we failed to get a better result by losing the gallon. The final score, a 5 . 4 win to Yateley.

Wed 24 Jan - William IV (Yateley & District League)

Tracey Dyos reports
Playing away to a team that only joined the league this season, and who beat us convincingly at home, we were expecting a tough game. With a non playing captain, we brought in our super sub Janette who played extremely well. The scores were level after the singles, and were still level after the pairs so the gallon was to be the decider. Being the best of 3, it seemed likely that it would go to the all important final leg.. and it did, with Janette getting the vital double to secure a 5 . 4 win for Yateley.

Wed 17 Jan - Railway Arms (Yateley & District League)

Tracey Dyos reports
The long christmas break didn't bring us much luck, with only Rene managing to win int the singles, though we all had our chances. Both pairs won a game apiece and we managed to win the gallon to give a final score of a 5 . 4 loss to Yateley.

Thurs 11 Jan - Camberley RBL (Camberley Ladies League)

Tracey Dyos reports
Another week saw us win the first game with Rene and Trace getting us the point. Disaster struck after that, with us failing to win another game. We lost the match 7 . 1 and then lost the gallon. A change of luck is long overdue!

Thurs 21 Dec - Frimley Community (Camberley Ladies League)

Tracey Dyos reports
Easily the hardest team to play against as some of our wednesday girls play for Frimley on a thursday! Trace and Rene won the first game of the evening but things went rapidly downhill from there, with us winning only one more game all night. The match was lost 6 . 2 and the gallon saw us do no better.

Thurs 14 Dec - Frimley Green WMC (Camberley Ladies Lgue)

Tracey Dyos reports
We got off to a good start with Trace and Rene winning their game, but failed to win another in the pairs. The fours did slightly better with us managing to win two games. A reversal of last weeks score.. the match was lost 5 . 3 but we salvaged some pride by winning the gallon.

Wed 13 Dec - Dog & Partridge (Yateley & District League)

Tracey Dyos reports
Chris won the first game of the evening, but the rest of us failed to follow suit in the singles! The pairs saw us only slightly better, each pair winning one of their two games. The evening got worse as we lost the gallon, to give a final score of a 6 . 3 loss to Yateley.

Thurs 7 Dec - Metropole (Camberley Ladies League)

Tracey Dyos reports
In a match of pairs and fours, we were level after the pairs, but did better in the fours by winning three games. The match was won at 5 . 3, but we carried on and won the gallon. A much better performance this week!!

Wed 6 Dec - Dog & Partridge (Yateley & District League)

Tracey Dyos reports
Our worse start to a match in ages saw us lose the first three singles, but Rene kept us in the game by winning. We did much better in the pairs with Trace and Rene winning two and Chris and Rose winning another. The scores were level going into the gallon but we failed to get the vital double to give us the win. Final score... a 5 . 4 loss to Yateley.

Wed 29 November - Anchor (Yateley & District League)

Tracey Dyos reports
Another game where the scores were level after the singles, with Trace and Chris winning and Rene and Rose unlucky. We excelled in the pairs by winning all four games, then continued the winning in the gallon to give a final score of a 7 . 2 win to Yateley.

Wed 22 November - Centre Club (Yateley & District League)

Tracey Dyos reports
Rene and Trace got us off to a poor start, both losing their singles but Rose and Chris won to level the score. The pairs were better with Rose and Chris winning both their games and Rene and Trace winning one. We carried on the good work in the gallon to give us a final score of a 6 . 3 win to Yateley.

Thurs 16 November - Camberley RBL (Camberley Ladies League)

Tracey Dyos reports
Another week where we played singles, and we lost them all. Sally,Rose,Steph and Gill all played well enough to win but just couldn't hit the double. Trace and Rene got us a point on the board, but we only managed one more point in the fours. We did no better in the gallon and ended in a 2.6 defeat.

Wed 15 November - White Swan (Yateley & District League)

Tracey Dyos reports
Another team we did well against last season,so a good result was hoped for. Rose was unable to get us off to a winning start, but Rene,Chris and Trace all won. The pairs were just as good with Chris and Rose winning both games and Trace and Rene winning one. The gallon wasn't as good, and the evening ended in a 6.3 victory.

Thurs 9 November - Frimley Community (Camberley Ladies League)

Tracey Dyos reports
As the away team we had to play Frimley's option of play, so into the singles went Trace,Steph,Rene and Gill. Trace and Gill managed to win, while Steph and Rene lost out on the all important double. Sally and Rose won their pairs,Jan and Rene couldn't continue the winning. We lost both the games of fours to end with a 3.5 defeat. Yet again,we failed to win the gallon, but we WILL beat the FCC girls one day...soon!

Wed 8 November - Hawley Bridge (Yateley & District League)

Tracey Dyos reports
We did very well against Hawley last season so we hoped to get a good result here. Things went according to plan with Trace,Chris,Rene and Rose all winning their singles. We did nearly as well in the pairs with Chris and Rose winning both games and Trace and Rene winning one. We lost our second point of the evening in the gallon to give us a final score of a 7.2 win.

Thurs 2 November - Frimley Green WMC (Camberley Ladies League)

Tracey Dyos reports
This season we decided to revert to the 'old' option of play, with only pairs and fours instead of singles. We got off to a good start with Trace and Rene winning the first game. We didn't manage another win in the pairs, and thought we were in for a heavy defeat. However,we played excellently in the fours winning three out of the four games. The match ended in a 4.4 draw as the gallon doesn't count..in this league its a separate game, just as well as we lost it! Altogether though, a very good result for Yateley.

Wed 1 November - William IV (Yateley & District League)

Tracey Dyos reports
The opposition are a new team to the league so we didn't know what to expect. We got off to a bad start with both Rene and Trace losing singles games that they should have won! Chris and Rose both won to level the match so we went into the pairs hopeful of a decent result. It was not meant to be,as Chris and Rose lost both their games and Trace and Rene managed to win one. The match was lost and the defeat got worse when we also lost the gallon. Final score 3.6

Wed 25 October - Railway Arms (Yateley & District League)

Tracey Dyos reports
We got off to an excellent start by winning the first three games, with only Trace missing out. The pairs started poorly with us losing the first three, but Trace and Rene won the last game to level the match at 4.4. With just the gallon to play we were determined to win, and Janette got us off to a great start by hitting the double in the first leg. The Railway won the second so everything was resting on the final leg. We were a long way behind but didn't give up..and it paid off when we got the all important double. The match ended in a 5.4 win to Yateley.
