The summer league was over, and we finished a very creditable 3rd, something we were all pleased about but would like to improve on in the winter. The season was not without a trophy as Dawn and Chris played excellently to win the league pairs competition, and will have to do their utmost to retain that title in the winter league. WELL DONE GIRLS!!

A disastrous start with Dawn,Rene and Trace all losing their singles. Chris won to give us a point so we needed to pick up in the pairs. Trace and Chris won one game and yet again Dawn and Rene won both games they played. The gallon has been poor for us this season, and yet again we lost. Final score, a 4.5 defeat to Yateley.

Chris and Trace both lost their singles, but Dawn and Rene won to keep the scores level. The pairs went much better with Chris and Trace winning both their games and Dawn and Rene doing the same. The match was won but we had high hopes of an even better result with the gallon still to play... however, we lost but still won the match 6.3

Two thirds of the way through the season and we're still trying to win our first match! Hopeful of achieving it this week, the match began....and went on and on and on! Trace eventually managed to win her singles, as did Steph, but both Sally and Rene were unlucky to lose despite playing well. The pairs went from bad to worse with Jan and Rene winning the only game. By the time it came to the gallon the clock was heading towards midnight so the captains agreed to toss a coin for it... and yes, we lost that as well!! Final score, a 3.6 defeat.

Chris, Trace and Dawn all won their singles to give us a good start, and the winning carried on in the pairs with Chris and Trace winning both games and Rene and Dawn winning one game. The match was won but could have been by a better score if we had managed to hit the doubles in the gallon. However, the final result was a pleasing 6.3 win to Yateley.

With Steph and Sally narrowly beaten, Rene and Trace managed to win their respective singles games to level the scores. The pairs proved more difficult with the only game being won by Jan and Sally. Double trouble proved decisive in the gallon when both teams had problems with the double 3. However, Anita and her girls finally hit it to send Yateley to a 3.6 defeat.

With only Chris winning in the singles a heavy defeat looked highly likely.. but we came to life in the pairs, with Trace and Chris winning both games and Rene and Dawn winning another. So, tied at 4-4 the match was to be decided by a best of 3 gallon. The Railway won the first, Yateley the second and in a nail biting third leg Yateley triumphed to give a final score of a 5.4 win to Yateley.

Trace and Steph won in the singles to give us a share of the points going into the pairs, and the match continued to be close when both teams won two each. Yet again it all hinged on the gallon, and yet again we lost. Final score a 4.5 defeat to another top team!

A disastrous start saw us losing all four games in the singles, and a heavy defeat was on the cards. However,the pairings of Jan and Rose, and Steph and Rene did us proud, winning all four to level the match. For the second week running the gallon was the decider, and we lost! Final score a respectable 4.5 loss to a top team.

Trace and Chris both won their singles to ensure the match was all square going into the pairs. Although they played well Rene and Dawn couldn't hit the doubles and lost both their games but Chris and Trace managed to win one game.Yet again we lost the gallon and the match ended in a 3.6 defeat.

For once we got off to a good start with Trace, Sally and Rene all winning the singles. However,the pairs proved more difficult with Jan and Rose winning the only game. Chris got us off to a winning start, but was unfortunately the only one of us to win in the singles. Although we should have done better,Dawn and Rene were the only winners in the pairs, and things didn't improve in the gallon which was won by the Centre Club. Final score a 2.7 defeat.

Vie and the girls always provide tough opposition and its all the harder when two of her team (Chris and Dawn) play for Yateley on a Wednesday. Sally was in good form to win her singles, but unfortunately nobody else could follow her example! We were just the same in the pairs, with only Trace and Sally winning a game. The losing continued in the gallon to give a final score of a 2.7 defeat to Yateley for the third week running. Surely things can only improve now!!

An excellent start with Dawn,Trace,Chris and Rene all winning their singles.

The pairs didn't go quite as well though, with Trace and Chris failing to win either of their games. Dawn and Rene did much better winning both games and the winning continued in the gallon to give a final score of a 7.2 win to Yateley.

RBL won the League in the winter season so we guessed this wouldn't be an easy match.
Steph and Sally both won their singles but sadly they were the only two points won all night!. Final score a 7-1 defeat.

Vie and her girls are always hard to beat, so we knew it would be a difficult match.
Chris and Dawn both won their singles to give us a 2-2 score going into the pairs. Chris and Trace won both their games and Rene and dawn won one game. That was enough to ensure the match was won, but only just as the railway won the gallon. Final score 5-4 win to Yateley.

Chris, Rene and Trace all won in the singles to give us a great start to a re-arranged match which was cancelled at the beginning of June. The pairs went equally as well with Chris and Trace winning 1 game and Dawn and Rene winning both their games. The gallon was won by the Centre Club so we couldn't add to our points.Final score..a 6.3 win to Yateley.

Another excellent start with Chris, Dawn and Rene all winning their singles. Both pairs of Trace and Chris and Dawn and Rene won a game each to ensure we had the 5 points needed to win the match,but we improved on that by winning the gallon to give a final score of a 6.3 win to Yateley.

Our first thursday match of the season got off to a good start with Trace winning the first game. Sally, Rene and Steph all played well but couldn't manage to hit the vital double. After many weeks without a game they can be excused this time!! Rose and Jan played well in the pairs but couldn't manage to add to our score so a heavy defeat was inevitable. However, we did salvage something when Rene got the all important double in the gallon. Final score...a 2.7 defeat.

Following on from last week, we got off to a good start in the singles with Dawn, Rene and Chris all winning. The pairs were also a copy of last week, with both pairs winning a game apiece. And so as not to spoil the sequence, we lost the gallon to give us exactly the same score as the previous match. Final score...a 5.4 win to Yateley.

This was our first match of the season,and as we won the summer league last year we have a hard time ahead to retain the title! Dawn was unlucky to lose the first game in the singles, but Rene, Chris and Trace all won to give us a good start. With new pairings this season we managed to win two of the four games.
