COLTS AWARDS 2002
Colts Manager, Colin Justice, hosted the annual Awards on 8 Sept 2002, assisted by U15 managers Nigel Briggs and Nick White. Club Chairman, John Parker, presented the awards.

The Top Award "Colts Manager's Player of the Year" Award went to Michael Bates. In his presentation Colin said "Michael is the Hampshire under 11 wicket keeper and number 4 batsman and this year was voted by his team mates the "Player's player of the year". The award was based on enthusiasm, sportsmanship, contribution to team spirit and encouragement to team mates especially those not doing too well. It is a thoroughly deserved award and although Michael has had limited opportunity with the club due to county and school matches as well as injury, the club would like to recognise his skills and personal qualities"
