Yateley's colts section is probably the most successful in the whole area. Boasting youth membership of over 100, the club gives opportunities to players of all capabilities, running an Under 9 side, two sides at Under 11, Under 13 and Under 15 age groups, and one team at Under 17.

The Colts section is lead by Colin Justice (See Pen Picture ), a Hampshire CCC Staff Coach who is supported by ten qualified ECB coaches, and many other helpers. The club have been tremendously successful in Colts competitions (see below) but this is not the main aim of the coaches. An  emphasis on enjoyment, team spirit and good attitude takes precedence, and there is a belief that good technical coaching will only produce excellent results when accompanied by a friendly sporting atmosphere.

In the past fifteen years over 50 boys have played at county level, mostly for Hampshire but also for Berkshire and Surrey. Many others have represented North Hampshire in regional competitions. Colin Justice says "It's been great to see so many players go on to have the thrill of playing at this level, but every child, boy or girl, who plays for us is treated the same and is given every opportunity to reach their potential".

Coaching begins indoors at Yateley School sports hall every February on Sunday afternoons and continues outdoors at Sean Devereux Park from early May.

Yateley colts play in the West Surrey League as well as entering the national Sun Life of Canada competition (U15s), the National Suburu Cup (U13s) and two local cups - the Rex Morris Cup (U 15s) and the Murata Cup (U 13s).
