CLUBMARK

Clubmark accreditation was achieved at a meeting on 29 March 2007 with the Hampshire Cricket Development Officer. Click for Certificate
This was a major exercise undertaken by a very committed group of members. Accreditation recognises that the club has met or exceeded stringent standards with respect to:

  • Child protection
  • Sports ethics and equity
  • Club management and
  • An effective and professional training and playing programme

In addition the accreditation recognises that we have in place a highly professional 'Club Development Plan'. This will ensure the continued development of the club in terms of  junior and senior playing standards, facilities improvements, links with the local community, etc.

There will be copies of all the policies and procedures in this section (when the webmaster has time to post them all!).

Constitution

Our constitution has changed to include two new officers of the Club (Clubmark Compliance Officer and Club Development Officer) to adopt the ECB “volunteers in cricket – good practice guide” and “volunteers charter” and any future versions of these.

The new constition will be formally adopted at the next AGM. You can download the old and new versions by clicking on the links below:
